It is not sure that the congregation knows he is gay. Maybe just his own family. If his father is a prominent elder, the other elders are not likely to interfere.

Yes, llama, the first time I saw it I almost didn't believe my own eyes.

We shall not forget the impact sites like tis one has. Nowdays it's very easy checking up facts about the organisation. The WTS has a really good reason demonizing the internet. An interesting fact is that the growt of the organisation started to fall in 1997-1998 when internet started to become common it most peoples homes, at least in the western world.

That's true. I think that the WTS has got a huge problem with "apostates". Probably they also have a huge problems with the rank and file not being loyal shunning family members. Otherwise they would never publish articels like this one so frequent.

I also think ridicule is very effective. Almost 900000 people saw the masturbation video on Youtube, and it got a lot of media attention. And it is very hard to defend oneself of ridicule. The same thing could be said about the Sparlock video.
